Easy Crochet Phone Case Pattern With Pocket
You Can Make in One Sitting
If you are looking for an easy crochet phone case pattern that is simple, practical, and actually useful, then this one's for you. This design is all about keeping things easy while still creating something you will reach for every day.
I created this pattern for the 3rd Annual Crochet Along by Underground Crafter as a fun project to make just for yourself after the holidays. It is quick to crochet, uses basic stitches only, and can be finished in one sitting. I also added a small pocket for earphones using a flower granny square, which makes it both cute and functional. Make a few in different colors and you can easily mix and match them with your outfits.

Measurements/Size
This phone case measures 9 cm in width * 15.5 cm in height (3.5 inches * 6 inches). This is suitable for an iphone. If your phone is larger, you can go up a hook size or increase the number of stitches in your foundation chain to achieve gauge.
Yardage
I used about 28m for this project (31 yards)
Gauge
9 sts & 4.5 rows = 5 cm (2.5") in dc with 3 mm hook

Notes
- Numbers at the end of each row (in brackets) indicate the number of final stitches in that row.
- Ch 2 at the beginning of a row does not count as a stitch.
- Please note that I use US crochet terms.

Sewing Pocket onto Phone Case
Thread your yarn needle with the long tail of the granny square.
Place your granny square onto your project in the desired position. I positioned mine to align with the bottom of the case.
Stitch along the inner edges of the granny square (3 sides, keep the top open). It’s best to put your hand inside the iphone case so you don’t accidentally stitch through the back of the case as well. Use small stitches in the front of the granny square so they don’t show so much.

Stitch along the inner edges of the granny square

Attach pocket by stitching along 3 sides keeping the top open
Once you’re done with the 2 sides and bottom, cut your yarn, weave in ends and cut excess.
Tadaa! You have yourself a practical iphone case to carry with you anywhere you go!
Make them in different colors to fit your outfits…

I hope you enjoyed this pattern. Let me know if you have any questions.
Happy hooking!
