Hi, I'm May!
Welcome to my blog!
I'm a passionate crochet blogger and designer dedicated to helping busy moms like myself find moments of calm and relaxation through the art of crochet.
As a wife and mom of two wonderful kids, I understand the importance of self-care and the need to recharge amidst the busyness of daily life.
I used to practice yoga regularly before I had kids, but now it's become an occasional bonus. Crochet has become my sanctuary, a way for me to unwind and reconnect with myself.
I cherish my down time and find solace in the rhythmic motions of my crochet hook. It's during these moments that I can truly meditate and take short breaks to nourish my soul.
And you know why I think crochet is awesome? Not only is it calming, it's also an experience that connects... on so many levels!
When you crochet, you connect yarn to create the most beautiful projects: clothing items, toys, home decor, you name it... and what do you do with these items? You gift them, and so you connect with your loved ones.
Your children watch you crochet and get inspired.
They connect with you wanting you to teach them how to crochet. And what a beautiful bonding experience that is!
You connect with your inner self when you're so focused on your crochet project. Stitch after stitch you meditate and free your mind from all the troubles you have.
With a deep appreciation for calm, tranquility, and relaxation, I strive to infuse these values into your daily lives.
Through my blog, I share my love for crochet, providing inspiration, tips, and tutorials for fellow moms seeking a respite from the demands of motherhood.
I believe that even amidst the chaos, we can create pockets of serenity. Whether it's a cozy blanket to wrap ourselves in, a mug cozy that brings comfort to our favorite hot drink, or an amigurumi creature that brings a smile to our faces, crochet has the power to transform our spaces and uplift our spirits.
Join me on this journey of finding peace through stitches.
Together, we'll explore beginner-friendly projects, delve into the world of mindful crochet, and discover how we can incorporate calm and tranquility into our daily routines.
Let's embrace the beauty of crochet as a pathway to relaxation and create a haven of serenity in the midst of our hectic lives.
Thank you for joining me on this creative and soothing adventure!
