30-Min. Super Easy No-Sew Snowman Eyeglasses Case
Free Crochet Tutorial
This is the third eyeglasses case crochet pattern in my 3-part Christmas series this year. The other two are the Santa Eyeglasses Pouch and the Elf Eyeglasses Case. I think these would make lovely quick Christmas gifts for teachers, family or friends.
If you sell your crochet makes at Christmas markets, these would also be a quick sell and they're so easy to whip up!
I also designed some Eyeglasses Templates that you could print out and include in your gifts or when you're selling at a craft fair so people know immediately what this pouch is for. You'll find the templates below.

R 2 - 9: Ch 2, dc around, sl st to join (22)
Leave a short tail, cut your yarn and fasten off.

R 10: Join red yarn, ch 2, dc around, sl st to join (22)

Buttons
With black, work 6 sc into a Magic Circle. Pull the Magic Circle closed. Sl st to join.
Leave a 4" tail, cut yarn and fasten off.

Assembly
Thread your button yarn tails onto your darning needle and sew on the center of your snowman distanced equally apart. You could also just pull the yarn strands through the snowman's body with your hook and tie a double knot on the inside of the pouch to secure.
Weave in remaining yarn ends from the white & red yarn neatly.
Cut off excess.

Customization
Some of my pattern testers added a chain loop on one end so they could hang the pouch on their bags. This might be a nice idea for you too! It would be like making a hanging loop for a stocking, you’d just make it long enough so the case fits through it.
Another option, if you like, would be to sl st across the top of the last round. This would pull the pouch in a bit at the top to stop your glasses from falling out.
I hope you like these ideas. Here are some other festive makes for you to try:
I hope you liked this tutorial.
Happy hooking!
