55515 Quantum Healing Code Crochet Pattern 55515

Using Quantum Healing Codes
in Crochet

This pattern is currently in testing! The PDF version of this pattern will be released once the test is complete.

We all know that crochet is all about numbers, right?

We count our stitches, our rows & rounds...

Our hooks have numbers for sizes and our yarn has numbers for weightyardage and color lots.

We are constantly counting and we focus hard on getting our stitch counts precisely correct when following a pattern to make sure our finished item looks as it's meant to.

And we get quite upset if someone interrupts our counting!

Sometimes, when we use repetitive stitch patterns, we fall into a meditative state and some people use crochet as a mindfulness practice.

So what am I trying to get at with all this?

Quantum Healing Codes

I recently came across the concept of "Quantum Healing Codes" and was quite fascinated by them! These “healing codes” are symbolic number sequences used in alternative wellness spaces.

In simple terms, these Quantum Healing Codes are presented as a kind of "energy-healing method that treats numbers as symbolic tools for promoting wellness, spiritual alignment and DNA rejuvenation."

In short, they are a "quantum tool used for healing" and are said to "change reality on a quantum level".

Brian Scott says that the basic premise of divine healing codes is that "numbers are nature's way of communicating and that everything can be explained with numbers."

Ok, so this is a rather HUGE topic and there's a lot of controversy around it. Let me just clarify that even though millions of people believe in the immense power of the mind and use numbers for therapy in various ways, these are not scientifically validated healing methods. They are generally used as symbolic or meditative tools rather than proven interventions.

Whatever the case may be, I find this concept quite thought-provoking, and since I've done a bit of research on the topic, I thought I'd share some if it with you today.

The Gateway Intermediate Workbook

If you google the term "Quantum Healing Codes", you'll come across a document called the "Gateway Intermediate Workbook" (1977) by the Monroe Institute of Applied Science and published on the CIA website.

It's a 21-page PDF document detailing how to use the Quantum Healing Codes.
The workbook is "designed to help participants practice techniques such as deep relaxation, focused breathing, visualization, mental concentration, and guided awareness exercises intended to shift the mind into different “Focus Levels” of consciousness."

Gateway-Intermediate-Workbook-Start-Crochet

So could this just be a placebo effect kind of thing? Or perhaps it's true that if we intensely focus on something, we can actually inject some form of energy into it. Let's test the power of our minds!

Translating Numbers into Crochet Designs

How about putting a spin on the Quantum Healing Codes and looking at this concept from a symbolic or meditative perspective?

Would it be possible to incorporate these Codes into our crochet projects? What would these "crocheted numbers" look like? And would these numbers have any effect on us if we counted them while stitching?

Since crochet is highly repetitive and tactile, I suppose it could lend itself to such a mindfulness-style practice, don't you think?

If we embed these numeric codes into a crocheted piece, would we be able to add intention and potential "magic" to it?

I'm not claiming that this is a substitute for medical advice or treatment, but more of a relaxing, creative, and symbolic way to set an intention and project it onto a crocheted piece.

The only way to find out how this can be done would be to give it a shot, right?

So let's grab our yarn and hooks and start stitching...

But there were several elements we needed to consider first.

Let me show you how I went about doing this.

The “quantum healing codes,” number sequences, and symbolic associations discussed here are based on spiritual, metaphysical, and meditation-related practices and are not scientifically proven medical treatments. The Process

First, I had to decide on a number of things:

1. What fiber type to use?

2. What color the project could be?

3. Which stitches to use and which numbers they would correspond to?

After experimenting a bit, I decided to try this stitch-to-number combination:

Crochet Stitch Number Legend

space = chain (ch)
zero = slip stitch (sl st)
1 = single crochet (sc)
2 = single crochet increase (sc inc)
3 = half double crochet (hdc)
4 = half double crochet increase (hdc inc)
5 = double crochet (dc)
6 = double crochet increase = (dc inc)
7 = half treble crochet (htbc)
8 = half treble crochet increase (htbc inc)
9 = treble crochet (tbc)

Note: Increase (inc) means working two of these stitches into the same stitch from the previous row.

Yarn Fiber

Ok, so once I settled on this stitch - number combination, I had to choose a yarn fiber and color.

For yarn type, I figured something natural would probaby do better than a synthetic fiber, so I went for Cotton.

Colors

For colors, I knew that many traditions connect colors with emotional or energetic states. I found some color symbols in this Gateway document and noticed that they are the same colors used by other chromotherapy/color-healing traditions.

Here's what I found:

Colors and Their Common Healing Symbolisms in Color Healing Systems

In holistic traditions, these meanings are sometimes linked to chakras or energy centers, for example red with grounding and blue with expression. In conventional psychology and healthcare design, the focus is more on how colors affect attention, stress, and comfort in a space. Select the color of your project knowing that you are not just choosing a beautiful color, but you are choosing the energy it carries.

Color
Common symbolic meaning
Typical therapeutic use
 Red
 Energy, passion, vitality, grounding
Used to stimulate or energize, though it   may feel intense.
 Orange
 Warmth, creativity, enthusiasm,   emotional release
Often linked to motivation and expression.
 Yellow
 Joy, optimism, clarity, intellect
Used to support focus and uplift mood. Helps with nerve pain & tension.
 Green
 Balance, healing, growth, renewal
Commonly used for calming and restorative environments. Helps with pain relief.
 Blue
 Calm, peace, trust, communication
Often used to reduce stress and encourage relaxation.
 Purple
 Intuition, spirituality, reflection
Associated with meditation and deeper   inner work.
 White
 Clarity, purity, simplicity, openness
Used to suggest a clean slate or   spaciousness.
 Black
 Strength, protection, containment, release
Sometimes used symbolically for   boundaries or seriousness.

Note: These meanings come from chromotherapy and related wellness traditions, where colors are used symbolically to support mood and energy rather than as medical treatment.

Quantum Healing Codes (Examples)

Ok, so now that I gathered the elements I needed for this experiment, it was time to choose some Quantum Healing Codes to start a pattern.

The one code I found in the "Gateway Intermediate Workbook" was "55515". This number sequence is meant to "Reduce Pain Signals". Here is what the document says one should do,

"Look with your closed eyes at that part of your body which is the source of pain signals. As you look, repeat in your mind the number 55515. When you do these 2 things, the pain signals will slowly reduce until they are no longer important."

I'd also seen some other codes mentioned in other documents on the internet and found what's called Modern “Quantum Code” Communities.

Such communities now blend a whole range of numeric-related systems, into one combined “quantum healing code” framework, even though these systems originally came from different sources and traditions. You might already be familiar with some of them:

  • Gateway Process concepts
  • Grabovoi sequences
  • Chakra systems
  • Numerology
  • Manifestation practices
  • Color therapy

So, the more recent spiritual communities have expanded these systems into larger “frequency code” directories. Here are some examples:

Code
Claimed Purpose
 71717
Mental clarity and reducing racing thoughts
 81818
 Emotional healing and grief
 33331
 Inflammation relief
 44442
 Energy restoration
 12121
 Hormonal balance
 28282
 Sleep improvement
 90909
 Trauma release
 56565
 Migraine relief

These newer codes are largely internet-era spiritual adaptations and are not part of the original CIA or Monroe Institute material.

Another example is the Fibonacci Sequence of numbers.

This is a number sequence and geometrical proportion that is found everywhere in nature from how flowers grow to the shape of the universe. Have a look at this post I wrote on the Fibonacci Sequence and how I designed these naturally shaped Seashells using this specific sequence of numbers.

Crochet Pattern:
55515 (Reducing Pain Signals)

I thought I'd try a similar method to the Fibonacci Seashells I'd created before, but this time using Quantum Healing Codes to see what projects emerge from this. I decided to try the numbers 55515 which were mentioned in the "Gateway Intermediate Workbook" and claims to "reduce pain signals". This is a small, low-stress project with an easy sequence repeat.

Materials Needed

  • DK cotton yarn in color of choice (refer to color chart above). I chose green for pain relief.
  • Size 3 mm crochet hook
  • Yarn needle
  • Scissors

Measurements/Size

You can make this project the length you choose.

Yardage

Depends on project length.

Gauge

Not important for this project.

Notes

  • This project is worked in rows.
  • Chain 2 at the beginning of a row counts as a stitch.
  • Please note that I use US crochet terms.

Setup & Introduction

1. Find a well-lit cozy space and sit in a relaxing, comfortable chair/sofa.

2. Set your intention: bring attention to a painful area and notice it while crocheting without forcing it away. Try to infuse your work with your intention and allow the yarn to carry your thoughts into the physical world.

3. Try to count the numbers "55515" as you are working your stitches.
5 = double crochet
1 = single crochet

4. Let the painful spot become smaller, less sharp, or less intense as your project grows.

5. Feel the flow of the project, weave your energy into the fabric with every stitch and seal it when fastening off at the end.

You can add more rows if you wish.

How are you feeling at this point? Would you like to carry on or finish off and create a functional project with your work?

Have a look at the project options below. If you feel you're done, check if you need to leave a tail to weave in and fasten off at this pointAs you cut and tie off the yarn, visualize sealing the intention into the fabric of your project.

You can decide whether you want your project to be used as a bracelet, keychain, bookmark, headband or belt.

How To Use Your Crocheted Piece

There are several ways you could use your project:

Bookmark

If using it as a bookmark, about 20 - 22 rows are ideal. You can cut your yarn and fasten off. Weave in both ends.

Bracelet

For bracelets, measure the project around your wrist and add or reduce the number of rows accordingly. End your bracelet with the adjustable clasp method or stitch on a button to close the bracelet. With the button method, you'll need to add about 4 to 5 chains to the other end of the bracelet so you can pass the button through that chain loop.

Keychain

For keychains, 20 - 22 rows is also ideal. Slip stitch or sew the two ends together. Cut yarn and seal off your intention. Weave in your ends and add keyring.
