Easy Ribbed Fingerless Gloves Crochet Pattern Instructions
Body
Note: This will be the length of your fingerless glove from your wrist to your knuckles. If you wish to have a longer glove, chain some more and measure the length.
R 1: Into the second chain from your hook, work a sc, 23 hdc, sc into the last ch, ch 1 turn (25)

R 2 - 18: Sc into both loops, 23 hdcBLO (back loop only), sc through both loops in last st, ch 1, turn (25)
Note: the sc at the beginning and end of your rows will make the glove more snug around your fingers and wrists. We're working through both loops of the sc for a neater finish.

Fold the rectangle in half, lining the first Row with the last.
Check the size of your rectangular piece and make sure it fits around your hand. Keep in mind that it can stretch a bit, so don't make it too wide. You can add or reduce rows to fit your hands. You can also use the FREE hands template for this.

Finishing
Work 10 sl sts into the front loop of one side and the back loop of the other, then work 5 sl sts through one side only (to create a gap for your thumb), and 10 more sl sts through both sides to join them. (The number of sts would have to be adjusted if you made your glove longer. See where your thumb is positioned and leave the gap open there.) Flip your glove inside out.
Leave a 4" tail, cut your yarn and fasten off.

Strap
Count 6 sts from the bottom of the glove by the seam, insert your hook under 2 loops and attach the yarn with a chain 1.

Attach yarn 6 sts from the bottom of the glove
R 1: [Work 4 sc, ch 1, turn (4)]. Repeat [ ] 24 rows (or however many you need to fit around your wrist).

4 sc

24 rows completed
Put on the glove and wrap the strap around your wrist. When it fits nicely, join the last row to R 1. Ensure your strap is not twisted.
Leaving a short tail, cut your yarn and fasten off.
Weave in the ends neatly.
Repeat instructions for second fingerless glove.
