17+ Tiny Treasures (Adorable Gift Topper Crochet Patterns)
for thoughtful presents
I just love it when I'm done with all my Christmas shopping and it's time to wrap up all the gifts for the kids to find in the morning! Some of them are wrapped by Santa himself, but a few others are from Mom & Dad!
I always add a little crocheted gift topper to my gifts and the kids love to keep them... sometimes hanging them as charms on their school bags or as ornaments on our Christmas Tree.
I make a few gift toppers for teacher gifts as well. I have a few ideas for you in that department as well.
So once you've decided on what to gift, wrapped it all up in gift wrap, you can add that wonderful finishing touch with one or more of the beautiful crochet patterns listed below.

Pine Cone by Crochet To Play
"Not so long ago, I was shopping the aisles of my favorite craft store and noticed the cutest pine cone decorations tucked into a shelf. Even though they weren’t made of yarn, I instantly thought, I want a crochet version of those! So I added “crochet pine cone pattern” to my to-do list of future designs.
Once I was able to get to work on these, I experimented until I got a pine cone shape I liked. I tried different yarn weights and hook sizes and got all kinds of different results. The pine cone pattern shared here is my favorite of the bunch. It uses worsted weight yarn and a size E/3.5mm hook. However, you can use lighter weight yarn and a smaller hook for smaller pine cones." (Jennifer from Crochet To Play)
