Easy Halloween Eyeball Earrings Crochet Pattern
Eyeball
R1: With blue, green or brown yarn, work 6 sc into a Magic Circle. (6)
Pull your MC Closed. Sl st to the first st to join.

Note: If you don't yet know how to work a Magic Circle, start with a ch 2, then work 6 sc into the second chain from your hook.
Leave a short tail, cut your yarn and fasten off.
R2: Join white, 2 sc into each st around. Sl st to join (12)
Note: Try to work over your yarn tails so you don't have to weave them in later.

R 3-4: Ch 1, sc into each st around. Sl st to join (12) 2 rounds
Note: If you’re using safety eyes, insert it into the center of the blue circle. If you’re using stick-on eyes, you can add them after you’ve completed crocheting.

R 5: Ch 1, sc dec around. Sl st to join (6)

Leave a long tail, stuff with fiberfill or yarn scraps.

Thread your yarn needle with this tail, stitch closed using the whip stitch along each st around. Pull tightly to close gap.

Weave in your end and cut excess.
Pupils
If you haven't added safety eyes yet, glue on black stick-on eyes in the center of the blue circle. You could also work a French Knot for pupils if you prefer.

Below is a video of how to work a French Knot. Make sure you insert your needle at the back of the eyball at the beginning and end of your knot. Tie a normal double knot when you're done and tuck your tails into the back of the eyeball.
Veins
Cut about an arm's length of red yarn. With your yarn needle, sew veins around the white part of the eyeball in various directions, mostly Y shaped.
Cut your yarn leaving a long tail and use it to attach to earring holders.
I purposefully left my red yarn tails hanging out so they look like dangling veins!!! This is optional of course.
Weave in any white or blue yarn tails.
Repeat pattern for the second earring.

Attaching the earring hooks
Cut a strand of red yarn, and thread your yarn needle. The length of yarn will depend on how long you want your earrings to hang down.
Insert your needle from the bottom of the eyeball to the top, then pass it through the earring jump ring and down from the top of the head to the bottom once again. Make sure to leave a stitch in between on the top of the head.
Tie a double knot and cut your yarn tails to the desired length.

And there you have it! A pair of creepy eyeball earrings for Halloween!
Hope you enjoyed this tutorial!
Happy hooking!
