Leave a 4” tail, cut yarn and fasten off.
Option 1: Embellish with red yarn & needle
Cut an arm’s length of red yarn, thread through your darning needle. Leave a long tail at the beginning and stitch in and out of each stitch around your wreath. Tie a bow at the top of the wreath.

Option 2: Embellish with red yarn & hook
Alternatively, you could work sl st surface crochet stitches on top of R 1. In that case, do not cut your red yarn before starting your surface crochet stitches. Just make sure to leave a long beginning tail so it's easy to tie a bow in the end. Here’s a video tutorial on how to work sl st surface crochet.

Cut excess yarn and tie a bow at the top of your wreath.
Weave in your ends.
Repeat instructions for the second earring.
Attach earring hooks with your jewelry pliers to the top of your wreaths.
