The Maybelline Flower Crochet Pattern

This is a cute little project that can be used as a stand-alone flower for Random Acts of Crochet Kindness, or can be used as embellishments for scarves, hats and headbands.

Materials Needed

• Yarn: Paintbox Yarns Simply DK in 3 colors: Hedgerow by Kate Eastwood
• Slate Green
• Red Wine
• Vanilla Cream
• Hook: US size E-4 (3.5) mm crochet hook
• A darning needle
• A pair of scissors

Yardage

• A skein of DK Paintbox Yarns = 100 g (3.5 oz) / 276m (302 yards)
• For all 3 colors used in this project, I used about 3 yards (2.8 meters) of yarn.

Abbreviations Used In Pattern

• ch = chain
• sc = single crochet
• dc = double crochet
• MC = Magic Circle
• sk = skip
• sp = space
• st = stitch
• sts = stitches
• sl st = slip stitch
• yo = yarn over
• fo = fasten off

Skill Level

Beginner – this pattern uses basic stitches.

Measurements

Diameter = 2 ” (5 cm)

Gauge

Gauge is not critical to this project. Refer to finished dimensions to check gauge.
